The story of Hughes-Primeau Controls is one of continuing development and growth. It is based on hard work ethics and quality people dedicated to providing top quality products and backing them with the finest possible service. It is an on-going effort to help our customers cut their operating costs, decrease their downtime, and boost their profitability.

Hughes-Primeau Controls began as Hughes & Associates, Inc. founded in Twinsburg, Ohio, by Henry Hughes in 1984. John Primeau partnered with Henry in 1996. The company changed it's name in 1998 to Hughes-Primeau Controls, Inc. to more accurately reflect the new direction it was taking towards serving the marketplace by providing single source supply of process control equipment and value-added engineering expertise and startup service.

During the past 18 years, Hughes & Associates gained a reputation by providing factory trained sales engineers to assist in field startup, ensuring that your process system delivers optimum results.

Today, our experienced sales engineers work along with your plant personnel analyzing existing operations and developing recommendations for improvement. They offer sage advice and assist in the product selection to obtain the correct equipment for each application the first time.

To further support your efforts, Hughes-Primeau sales engineers perform in-house training seminars to instruct your plant personnel in the start-up and calibration of each piece of equipment we sell.

Our goal is to provide single source automation supply and startup service for your plant. Whether your project is small, or your project is significant in size, we can provide programming, CAD, calibrating, and start-up of the complete system.
